The PetSafe Staywell 775 Large Brown Dog Door is a practical large pet door designed for bigger dogs, with a smart brown frame and a rigid see-through clear flap.
It is supplied with an internal slide-in closing panel and tunnel sections for installation through suitable doors and panels up to approximately 50mm / 2 inches thick.

Rigid Clear Flap
The Staywell 775 uses a rigid transparent flap, allowing light through the pet door while giving your dog a clear view of the other side.
The flap is replaceable, so if it becomes damaged or worn over time it can be changed without replacing the complete dog door.
Internal Slide-In Closing Panel
An internal slide-in closing panel is supplied as standard. This allows you to close the pet door when you do not want your dog to use it.
The panel can also provide an additional barrier during cold or windy weather.
Important: Make sure there is sufficient clear space above the pet door for the closing panel to slide upwards before cutting your door.
Tunnel for Doors up to 50mm Thick
Tunnel sections are supplied for installations through suitable doors and panels up to approximately 50mm / 2 inches thick.
The tunnel helps provide a neat finish to the cut opening and covers the exposed edges of the panel.
The Staywell 775 can also be installed through thicker walls, but for deeper installations you will need to construct an additional tunnel lining. Suitable materials such as uPVC soffit board or rigid sheet material can be used for this purpose.

Fitting to a Composite Door
The Staywell 775 can be fitted into many composite doors, but the door construction should be checked carefully before installation.
Raised decorative mouldings can interfere with the pet door frame, and sufficient clearance must be available above the opening for the internal slide-in panel.
Any exposed cut edge should be properly sealed against moisture. Where appropriate, a suitable trim, rigid angle or architrave can be used to create a neat and weather-resistant finish.
Important Safety & Security Notice
This is a large pet opening and should not be relied upon as a security barrier.
The opening may be large enough for a person to reach through, so avoid installing the pet door close to keys, handles or locks that could be accessed through the opening.
Small children must also be considered. Children should be supervised where a pet door is large enough for them to pass through.
